Upgrading your OL1 or Rega arm if you already own one

SEND TO: If you wish to experience the full potential of the OL1 simply send your arm to :- Origin Live, Unit 5, 362b Spring Road, Sholing, Southampton, SO19 2BP UK with cheque payment to 'Origin Live' - alternatively you can give credit card details - return dispatch will usually be 2 to 5 days.

TO REMOVE YOUR ARM: 1) Unplug the arm interconnect lead from the amplifier. 2) Unscrew the cable clip holding the cable to the turntable. 3) Lastly undo the large nut under the base of the tonearm and remove the rega arm.

PRICES & CARRIAGE: For exact export prices, UK prices, carriage costs, currency conversions and methods of payment - See Origin Live shop

TURNAROUND TIME: To send an arm to you we normally use small air packet post (normal postal service). This costs approx. £4 - 9 which should be added to your order and takes approx. 4 - 10 days - despatch of arm is usually within 2 - 3 days of receiving payment. UPS guaranteed delivery within 2 days is £48.

PACKING: If you are sending an arm to us for modification, please remove the cartridge and simply pack the arm in a cardboard box with 25mm clearance round the arm. Use scrunched up newspaper or bubble wrap to pad out the box. Detach the counterweight and pack in padding of some description. The Rega arm is very robust and there are next to no cases of damage in transit.

CUSTOMS FORMS: When sending goods to us, if you fill in any customs form write 'TEMPORARY IMPORT' on it and tick the 'GIFT' box not the 'Merchandise' box as we are not buying the goods from you. The customs form (usually a small green label) will not provide guidance on this, but just write it on anyway in a conspicuous manner. Also for 'value of goods' write a value less than £99 as this is usually for import duty and we are not importing the goods so theoreticaly the value is zero. However if you need to write a figure for insurance purposes then 2nd hand Regas are usually less than £99 in value). This will stop us being charged incorrect Import Duty.
